Pressure tank
Supplies the extinguishing system with water. Takes the form of an exhaustible source of water for systems with a short operating period and low design discharge, mostly in combination with supply or intermediate tanks to supply extinguishing water until the sprinkler pumps start. A sprinkler system’s pressure tank normally has a volume of 20-30 m. The relevant directive on pressure tanks stipulates that they are to be inspected regularly by experts.
